The SSCNC has been organizing Obedience Trials since 1979 to showcase the obedience skills of dogs, including walking on- and off-leash, retrieving, jumping, and staying. These trials are meant to feature dogs who display exemplary behavior at home, in public places, and in the presence of other dogs.
The SSCNC takes pride in maintaining a comprehensive list of past winners of High in Trial and High Combined Score Open B & Utility since 1979.
High in Trial is awarded to the dog with the highest qualifying score in any of the eligible classes. On the other hand, High Combined Score Open B & Utility is awarded to the dog receiving the highest combined score in the regular Open B and Utility classes.
